In my neighborhood

The things that I like about my neighborhood is that its really quiet but you could hear the noise of the cars passing by. The other thing that I like is that were I live infront of my house there is a park and its really nice because there is a lot of trees. Its also near of alot stores so I don't have to go on the car I just go walking. Long time ago a few blocks were I live I heard some gun shots it was in the night like around nine. I dont remember what I was doing but I went outside to see what had happend I was really scared when I saw a lot of police and the ambulance outside of the apartment. A lot of people were outside and they said that a young boy pass by while a lady was walking to her house and he shot her. They also said that the guy shot like tree times but the lady got only one shot that was on her leg so they said that she was going to be ok.

China Town Reflection

When we were on our way to China Town I thought that nobody was going to let us interview them. But when we got there every people that we ask if we could interview them they would said no. After a while we were still asking people some of them would said yes and we interview them we only interview five persons. The difference that I saw between China Town and Fruitvale is that in China Town there are a lot of super markets and there are a lot of Japanese restaurants and some of them don't speak english. In Fruitvale there are a lot of Mexicans restaurants and almost every one that works there speaks spanish. The thing that mostly suprise me in China Town is that every way that I look I will see a super market. I din't saw that much similarities every thing is different compare to Fruitvale.

Garbage in Oakland

On the back of our school we found  broken glass. I think that is really dangerous because a lot of us walk around and we could get hurt. I think that the glass got there is because someone crash and they didn't wanted to go throw it away. They just found an easier way and just throw it on the back of our school.

Reflection on Fruitvale

The experience that I had between Fruitvale and Walnut Creek was that in Fruitvale was easier to interview people. There were more Latino people in the streets but especially working in the restaurants. The thing that I like is that they were really nice they would say yes and they would let us interview them. The other thing that is really nice is that we went to a Japanese restaurant and we interview the owner her name is Cathy when we got there she got us some chairs and we seat down to be confortable. When we left she gave us a piece of sushi that it tasted really good. But the thing that I didn’t like was that one person said no and we didn’t interview him. The thing that I knew about Fruitvale is that every person that we interview they were really nice and friendly. In Fruitvale I learned a lot about my topic because there are a lot of restaurants we had a lot of information about food.
